What is The Painted Parrot?    The Painted Parrot is a place that you can go to and paint your very own painting.  No talent is required and anyone can do it. We give you instructions and supply everything you need.  You can come alone, bring a friend, or have a private party.  You can even bring your favorite beverage, including beer and wine.

What are your studio hours?  We are open Tuesday - Friday from 1 pm - 5 pm and Saturday by appointments.  We are open Tuesday - Saturday for nightly classes from 7 pm to 9:30 pm.

I have no artistic talent what-so-ever, is this something I should do?   Yes, no talent is required for our classes.  You will be amazed at what you can do. Everyone’s painting will look different; this is what is so wonderful about art (We all put our unique spin on it.)  Our class is about having fun while creating our own individual art.

How much does it cost?

Evenings $35 per person

Private Parties $250 up to 12 people

Mini-Party $150 up to 6 people

Bachelorette Party $400 up to 12 people

What size paintings do we paint?   Our standard size is 16” x 20”. 

How do I register/sign up?   Register online at thepaintedparrot.NET by clicking the painting on the calendar you want to paint.  You will be prompted with your info and if you wish to pay in advance.  We recommend advance payment to gaurantee you a seat.  You can also register by phone 803-386-6262 or come by our shop at 233 Main Street in Fort Mill SC.

How do I decide the best time to come?       Look at the Calendar and pick a painting you would like to paint.  Then sign up and register for that particular night.

Do I have to pay in advance?   No, you don’t have to pay in advance, you can pay at the door when you come in.  However, you are not guaranteed a spot unless you pay in advance.  If the class is full, prepaid customers will get first priority on seating.  

Do you accept credit cards?   Yes, we do accept credit cards.

Can I keep the painting I paint?   Yes, it is yours to keep!

What do I bring?  We supply everything you need to paint your painting, canvas, brushes, paint, apron, etc.  You just bring your favorite beverage, including beer or wine.  Bring your small cooler to keep your beverages cold. Soft drinks and snacks will be for sale.

How long are the classes/parties?  

The evening classes are two and a half hours. 7:00 – 9:30 PM.                                                               M
Special events and private parties vary on age group and event content.

Can I reserve the entire building for a private party?   Yes, you can reserve any night as long as it is available for your private party.  We are very flexible with times and days, just let us know as well in advance as possible.  Advance deposit required for private parties. Deposits are non-refundable but are applied toward cost of party.  Balance due on day of party.

Can you come to our place of business or home for private parties?   Yes, we are mobile.  I can set up at your place of business or in your home as long as you have room. Ask about rates as they vary according to distance and number of guest.

Can I suggest a painting I have in mind?   You can make suggestions of future painting you would like to see on the calendar. If your private party wants to paint a particular painting, object, logo,  etc, I will do everything I can to provide a painting that will be in the skill level of the guest. 

The painting I want to paint is not on a night I can attend, is there any way to change the calendar?   Because our calendar is up for many to choose and plan from, we can’t change it except for private parties.  However, let us know what painting you want and what night and we can schedule it for the next available month’s calendar on the night you want.

I like a painting from last week, but it is not on the calendar again.  Will it come up again next month?   We schedule our painting to meet your needs.  If you want a painting to repost, just let us know which one and we will repost it the next month.

I drove by your shop but didn’t see any available parking on the street, is there anywhere else to park?   Yes, behind the buildings is a big parking lot.  It is a short walk around to the front side of buildings.  You can enter this parking lot on Main Street (Next to big Gazebo) or from Clebourne St. (turn into the Clebourne Office Building entrance.) Many people park across the street at the Vet's Office on the corner.
